The three-party reconcilation government put their hope on France, a great friend of Samdach Sihanouk, because there had been a game played on the international scene to weigh each party's strenght whether each of them had an attempt to solve the existing problem calmly or leave this problem to be permanant with taking over by the socialist Vietnam government.

In a speech stated by Prince Micheal Haut de Sigy , the governor of Vacsai during the occation of the world war II ending anniversary " Among all of the countries,where used to be protectorated or colonied, only Cambodia had never raise their hands with weapons to be against with France". (Cf. discours en 1985 du Comte Michel de Haut de Sigy, Mairede Versailles, à Bayeux). This speech was stated in the face of my presence during my position of the president of National Union of the Indochinese Vaterants. Therefore, in the sate of French-Khmer and French people always joined their hands. As a result, today the Khmer compatriots and the three party coalition government put their hope on France and Franch government. However, they insisted France government to fall into Yuon's trap. Because, during that time, Vietnam had an intention to be recognized to protect Phnom Penh government by the world. all of the three parties, Sihanouk, Khieu Samphan, and Son Sann, did not want and support what Yuon raised its plan because they were thinking of the national benifit and Cambodian people's benifits, who were controlled.

It was known that the wedding ties between France and Cambodia took nearly 100 years resulting in many friendships and so on, such as Culture, Economics, and politics. thousands of Khmers including farmers, workers, and soldiers, participated in both world war to defend Franch. A monument was constructed to do the remembrance to respect the souls of 28 Régiments commandés led by the child of Khmer king and Lao King ( Yuon did not join) and this monument was built in the central of Vincennes park (35 bisavenue de la Belle-Gabrielle à Nogent-sur-Marne), however, Khmers who live in Franch did not know this monument and also be not interested.

An another event that Khmers joined their hand with French army to fight at the Sisophon and Thmor Kol battle field contrasting to an aspect in Paris that advancism, Cathlicism, and French correspondants were praising Communists. General Yab got an interview on French TV that " when I am bored with my mind, I take a French Cassettes to play and watch, and the cassettes did not hide their secrets, and this kind of stupidity stimulates my strength".
